Hermès has unveiled a new showcase on Avenue George V in Paris. The space has been redesigned with audacity and refinement by Studio Asaï, renowned for its sensitive projects combining architecture, audacity and scenography. In this highly mastered setting, several creations by Jean Perzel naturally find their place.
A subtle dialogue between heritage and modernity.
A confidential address, reinvented luxury
Behind a discreet façade, the Hermès George V boutique offers visitors a unique experience. The interior is both elegant and vibrant, playing with textures, volumes and colors. Each space asserts its personality, from the private lounge to the shoe lounges, without ever breaking the overall harmony.
This is the skill of Antoine Simonin, founder of Studio Asaï: reinterpreting the Hermès universe, infusing it with an almost narrative dimension.
An architectural stroll where luxury is hushed, enveloping and profoundly Parisian.
Exceptional lighting fixtures for a tailor-made atmosphere
In this project, light plays an essential role. More than just lighting, it sculpts the space and reveals the materials. Several luminaires from the Atelier Jean Perzel contribute to this elegant staging.
Particularly noteworthy is ceiling light No. 2080, present in both the men’s and women’s shoe lounges. With its geometric lines and sophisticated glow, it enhances the deep hues of the walls (deep green on one side, raspberry red on the other) without ever stealing the spotlight from the collections on display.
The floor lamp No. 107 M, meanwhile, gently illuminates the VIC lounge, offering a reassuring yet architectural light, ideal for this confidential relaxation area. Finally, lamp No. 980 GM punctuates the volumes with its graphic presence: placed on marble wall units, it provides enveloping light and a touch of timeless sophistication.

This is clearly visible in these superb photos by Romain Ricard: each piece is in subtle dialogue with the space. Their sober lines, precise structures and soft lighting reflect the spirit of the boutique: purity, materials and excellence.
A shared vision of excellence
In choosing Jean Perzel lighting fixtures, Hermès and Studio Asaï are doing more than winking at the history of French design. They are asserting a certain idea of luxury: demanding, sustainable, cultivated. Each piece is designed to last, to magnify its environment and to stand the test of time with elegance.
At Perzel, as at Hermès, nothing is left to chance. Detail becomes essential. The artisanal gesture becomes manifest.
Antoine Simonin, founder of Studio Asaï, knows how to recognize and honor these sensitive and precise gestures, which give their soul to places.
And it is in this common demand that the evidence of their encounter is born.
